CALL FOR BIDS MUKILTEO WATER AND WASTEWATER DISTRICT LIFT STATION 8 UPGRADE 
ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE $1,606,000 

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District, 7824 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo, Washington 98275, up to 20 p.m.; local time on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Lift Station 8 Upgrade. 

The Lift Station 8 Upgrade project will include the upgrade of facilities and installation of new facilities and equipment at the Lift Station 8 site, as well as the replacement of approximately 360 linear feet of force main. The Work shall be substantially complete within 140 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the District Manager, District Office, Mukilteo, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidder's "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
