•Get water to the roots
•Fix leaks
•Wash vehicles with a pail and a hose with a shut-off nozzle or at a car wash
•Use a broom not a hose for cleaning
•Tune-up automatic sprinkler systems
•Mow high
•Water young trees efficiently

Indoor Residential Water Conservation Tips

•Replace older toilets with WaterSense labeled high efficiency toilets
•Take shorter showers
•Fix leaks
•Wash full loads of laundry and dishes
•Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth and washing your hands
•Use garbage disposal minimally
